Many SEO experts will tell you content is king.  I can tell you confidently based on the results I’ve gotten the content is King debate is total crap.  Links are the true king which unlock the door way to your number one Google rankings.

This really is the case on blog marketing, even if you may not have heard it before.  I will not tell you the names of sites.  I have to protect them as they are not mine.  I will explain to you that content is NOT King but ONE WAY LINKS ARE KING.

I have taken it up. A new challenge. My client’s pages could not go to the first page of Google. I went to work to get it done.

I looked at the pages they already had on the first page and found myself wondering how the heck they were even on the first page.  The pages were ill-written, nasty and lacked clarity. It seems that some one who does not know  English has ventured it.  I think the source is  a content spinner. They are not neatly written variations of sentences but a product of crap article spinning software.

Most of these pages were also in some pretty competitive keywords, like 4 million competing sites and up so it was very clear and obvious to me the previous ‘seo’ guy didn’t know what he was doing or was extremely lazy.

My kindergartner could do this with the free article spinner we downloaded in a couple minutes from download com.

The site was so poorly formatted internally, the anchor text were things like home and now, they weren’t going after their key words with their inner text links, and there was no site map for the search bots to easily follow.  This is SEO 101 and none of it had been done.

This is what seems to be clear from the results and that is if content was king then there is no way that Google should be showing those pages on the first page of any search.  So I continued my research and what did I find?

All of the sites had mucho one way links to their domain even if they were trashy links from low quality and low authority websites.  So then I looked at their sites that couldn’t make it to the first page of Google and found the Same non-English content but NO LINKS.

After copying links from the other pages, it only took two weeks to get my clients’ website on the first page of a Google search results for every single site I did for them.

I did this mainly to prove a point to them and get fast results and now am going back to get them quality links from power, authority domains so their sites will have staying power in their first page rankings.
